As the individual sponsorship model is administratively very time-consuming and expensive, and is also not permitted in some Swiss cantons and German federal states, we opted for the collective sponsorship model. Our approach to sponsoring secondary school and high school students focuses on the needs of the young people. Through our collective sponsorship model, donations from our committed sponsors are collected in a common pool. In this way, we can provide targeted support to the largest possible number of students.
Collective sponsorship is the ethical choice for sponsorship programmes. By eliminating the direct personal relationship, students are relieved of responsibility. Instead, we, the supporters, are accountable to the students. As a sponsor, you will receive 4 times a year stories of hope and change from all the students in the programme.
To cover basic costs, for transport, food, extra lessons, school uniform and books we recommend donating a minimum of 50$ a month. You can also choose a smaller amount or share the sponsorship with a friend. It is an advantage for the programme if you can sponsor a child for one year or longer.

a healthy meal at school
Our most needy students often come to school too hungry or sick to benefit from their lessons. Providing healthy school meals is important because it ensures equal opportunities, supports child well-being, has a long-term health benefit, and fosters social support and inclusion.

sponsor a farm animal
We were looking for a solution that would sustainably improve the economic situation of the families who struggle most and decided on the farming project. You can find more information about this project here.
The cost of a pregnant cow is around 800$. The cost of building materials for a cow shelter is 150$.

emergency help
Our emergency aid programme focuses on short-term assistance in medical and economic emergencies. We also support poor families whose homes have been severly damaged by natural disasters. This is unfortunately becoming more and more common due to climate change.
